1 Introduction
MineBridge Limited ("MineBridge," "we," "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our platform at www.minebridge.co. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described here.
We may update this Policy periodically. Material changes will be notified via email or Platform notice at least 30 days before they take effect. The current version is always available at www.minebridge.co/privacy.
2 Information We Collect
All users: name, email, phone number, company name, business address, and account credentials.
Service Providers (additional): company registration number, tax ID, employee count, service categories, operating regions, equipment details, safety records, licences, insurance information, and certifications.
Expert Network members (additional): qualifications, areas of expertise, professional registration numbers, experience, and availability.
All users may also submit: project descriptions and RFQ details, platform messages and communications, reviews and ratings, and payment/billing information.
When you use the Platform, we automatically collect usage data (pages viewed, searches, features used), device and browser information, IP address, and geographic location based on IP. We also use cookies and similar technologies — see Section 8 for details.
We receive information from verification partners (business registries, tax authorities, insurance companies, certification bodies), client references provided by Service Providers, and public sources such as government databases and industry publications.

3 How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage your account, process payments, and enforce our Terms
- Display listings, match RFQs to relevant suppliers, and enable communications between Mines and Suppliers
- Verify business credentials, certifications, insurance, and references
- Send transactional communications (account alerts, billing, verification updates) — these cannot be disabled
- Send promotional emails and newsletters, with your consent — you may opt out at any time
- Analyse Platform usage, fix bugs, prevent fraud, and improve features
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
4 How We Share Your Information
Service Provider profiles — including company name, service categories, certifications, safety stats, ratings, and contact details — are visible to all Platform users. Detailed verification documents, insurance policies, and employee personal details are not publicly visible.
RFQ details are shared with relevant Service Providers. Proposals are shared only with the requesting Mine. Messages are shared only between sender and recipient (and MineBridge for security/dispute purposes).
We share data with verification partners, payment processors, and technology providers (hosting, analytics, email, support tools) bound by confidentiality agreements. We may also share with legal and financial advisors under professional confidentiality obligations.
We may disclose your information to comply with court orders, government requests, or legal obligations, to prevent fraud or illegal activity, or in emergencies involving threats to life or safety.
If MineBridge is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred to the successor entity. You will be notified at least 30 days in advance and may export or delete your data before the transfer.

- We do not share pricing proposals with competitors
- We do not disclose private messages without consent (except for legal or safety reasons)
5 Data Security
We protect your data using:
- SSL/TLS encryption in transit
- AES-256 encryption at rest
- Role-based access controls
- Multi-factor authentication for admin access
- Firewalls and intrusion detection systems
- Regular security audits and penetration testing
In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users within 72 hours (where required by law), including details of what was compromised and steps being taken.
6 Data Retention
- Account information retained indefinitely
- Messages and usage logs for 24 months
- Transaction records for 7 years (legal requirement)
- Personal data deleted within 12 months
- Verification documents within 90 days
- Transaction records retained for 7 years
Reviews you wrote remain published as "[Removed User]" after account closure. Data may be retained longer if required by law, ongoing legal proceedings, or active disputes.
7 Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of your personal data
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities
- Export your data in a portable format (JSON or CSV)
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email info@minebridge.co. We will respond within 30 days. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Ghana Data Protection Commission at www.dataprotection.org.gh. EU/EEA users may also contact their local supervisory authority.
8 Cookies
We use four types of cookies:
- Essential cookies: Required for login, security, and core Platform function. Cannot be disabled.
- Performance cookies: Analyse usage and Platform performance (e.g. Google Analytics). Optional.
- Functional cookies: Remember your preferences and settings. Optional.
- Marketing cookies: Track referral sources and campaign effectiveness. Optional.

9 International Data Transfers
Data is processed primarily in Ghana under the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). By using the Platform, you consent to this. We may also transfer data to cloud providers and technology partners in other countries, in which case we use Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
EU/EEA and UK users have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR respectively. California residents may have rights under CCPA — contact info@minebridge.co for jurisdiction-specific requests.
10 Children's Privacy
MineBridge is a B2B platform for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
